Monster

“A little learning is a dangerous thing; drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring: there shallow draughts intoxicate the brain, and drinking largely sobers us again.” - Alexander Pope, 'An Essay on Criticism', 1709

A thing that is enraged when called by it's name
A monster that feeds on souls
It thrives on ignorance and suffering
And is attracted to desperation and weakness
Drunk on it's own self-deceptions
It breeds with itself
And brings abominations into the world
And they scatter to all four corners of the globe
And hide
Waiting for idiots
